Saints Phase 2 will help support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing

Saints Nuneaton are embarking on phase two of their renovation works this year.

Saints Nuneaton is a joint venture between Together for Change Coventry and Warwickshire and Churches in Nuneaton. It is a community hub and café based in the town centre, with a three-point vision for bringing community transformation to the heart of Nuneaton.

The first point of the vision is up and running and involves encouraging and supporting small businesses, the development of skills, and raising aspirations. The second and third points of the vision focus on supporting physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and encouraging the creative arts and community connection. Saints currently run several free groups in the areas of arts & crafts and mental wellbeing, with plans to greratly expand these following the renovation works.

Phase 2 of the project involves the renovations of the upstairs and some basement rooms of the Saints Building, paving the way to expand the range of activities Saints offers, with particular focus on the vision points 'Sport and Support' and 'Create and Connect'.

This will include the renovation of St George’s Hall, a 250-300 capacity Victorian dance hall, with a stage and sprung dance floor which will be an excellent facility for community sports and exercise programmes.
