A prayer and thanksgiving service for Living in Love and Faith will take place on the 24th September at St Andrew’s Church, Rugby.
As the war in Ukraine continues to devastate the country, people across Warwickshire and Coventry have been quick to offer support and assistance to Ukrainians. There are many ways to help, here we list a few.
Bishop John is pleased to announce that, following the retirement of the Reverend Canon Barbara Clutton, the Reverend Martin Davies has been appointed as Rural Life Officer and the Reverend Dan Corlett as Assistant Rural Life Officer.
St Chad's, Bishops Tachbrook has partnered with a group from Warwickshire County Council Adult Learning Centre to open its doors to host a free foundational language scheme for 15 newly arrived guests from Ukraine.
Eleven new priests and twelve new deacons are to be ordained this weekend. The priests will be ordained by the Bishop of Coventry, the Right Reverend Dr Christopher Cocksworth, at 10.30am on Sunday 3rd July. The deacons will be ordained by the Bishop of Warwick, the Right Reverend John Stroyan, at 4pm on Sunday 3rd July.

Thirteen new deacons will be ordained this summer. The new deacons have undertaken a course of study and training, and following their ordination they will serve as curates (assistant ministers) while their training continues.
