Coventry Cathedral and The Bishop of Coventry, the Right Reverend Sophie Jelley, are pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Canon Andrew Dodd as the next Dean of Coventry.
Three children and youth ministers from Coventry Diocese were invited to an event at Lambeth Palace last week to be thanked for their contributions to the life of the Church.
In her Presidential Address to Diocesan Synod on the 4th July, Bishop Sophie encouraged the diocese to live out our call to be peacemakers.
RECOGNISE Sunday is nearly here! On 12 July 2026, Churches nationwide will be taking the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the volunteers and staff who minister to their children and young people.

Eight new priests and five new deacons will be ordained by Bishop Sophie this weekend. The priests will be ordained at 4pm on Saturday 27th June and the deacons will be ordained at 10.30am on Sunday 28th June.
Bishop Sophie is pleased to announce that following a national search and a rigorous interview process the Revd Tim Cockell has accepted her invitation to become the Archdeacon of Warwick.
