Vicar of St Barbara's, Earlsdon, Coventry

Our mission is to grow in love for God, each other, our community and the world.

We are looking for someone who will guide us with compassion and care as we journey in God's love. At St. Barbara’s you will find a broad church of different ages, backgrounds and interests who all joyfully come together to worship God and deepen our understanding of the Scriptures. We are keen to serve our local community and work together with our new incumbent in sharing God's love among all people of all ages and backgrounds.

We would like a vicar who will:

  • Proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom - be welcoming and inclusive to all
  • Teach, baptise and nurture believers - allowing people to grow
  • Respond to human need by loving service - for the church and wider community
  • Seek to transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and to pursue peace and reconciliation
  • Strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth

Vicar of the Bridge Coventry and Priest-in-Charge of St James Fletchamstead

Two dynamic and growing benefices are seeking a new leader.

The Bridge Coventry (St John's Westwood & St Stephen's Canley) and St James Fletchamstead seek a passionate leader for this cluster of three distinctive churches on the vibrant south side of Coventry.

  • A Leader of Leaders who can support our staff and volunteer teams.
  • A leader with a deep spirituality and infectious love for Jesus who can provide good biblical teaching and prophetic insight.
  • Someone with significant mission experience, ready to oversee the vision for 5 new centres of outreach in the next 10 years.
  • A champion for our status as a Growing Faith Learning Hub.
  • A collaborative team player able to navigate diverse theological perspectives with grace and sensitivity.
  • A person who will support major building projects to make our centre’s mission-ready.
  • They will also be committed to playing a full and active part in the life of the Deanery and Chapter.

Vicar of Wood End and Priest in Charge of Potters Green

Two vibrant and demanding parishes, each with its own character and opportunities are seeking:

  • A leader who is deeply grounded in the Gospel, able to guide both parishes with wisdom and distinction
  • A leader who can work creatively with external partners to support and resource families.
  • Someone with experience or a deep passion for Estate Ministry.
  • Someone with experience of building a team around them and managing others effectively.
  • A collaborative team player able to take initiative and inspire others.
  • Someone who can encourage and enable worshippers to use their gifts and talents fully and joyfully.
  • A person with a good sense of humour, able to work calmly under pressure and hold tensions within the community with grace and sensitivity.
  • They will also be committed to playing a full and active part in the life of the Deanery and Chapter

Associate Minister, Ansty & Shilton (House for Duty basis)

St James Ansty and St Andrew’s Shilton serve two picturesque and community-focused Warwickshire villages north of Coventry, with a range of local amenities and excellent transport links to the majority of the country.

We are seeking a House for Duty priest who will enjoy focusing on the heart of parish ministry and become an integral part of life in the two villages. We wish to appoint a priest who will:

  • Be a visible and known presence in the local and wider communities, within and beyond the Church
  • Be able to build relationships with people of all ages and experiences
  • Recognise and encourage potential in lay ministry, leading us in worship, spiritual growth, and outreach in our parishes
  • Be creative, and comfortable within a range of worship styles and a broad expression of faith
  • Embrace the vision of the Church communities, and build on them using their own gifts, in their own way
  • Collaborate with partner Churches across Bulkington, Ansty and Shilton

The Vicar of Bulkington will become Priest-in-Charge of Ansty and Shilton, releasing our House for Duty colleague to focus on the heart of parish ministry unincumbered by some of the administration.
