Diocesan Director of Education

Are you a senior Christian leader who sees education as mission and wants to make a lasting impact on children, communities, and the Church?

The Diocese of Coventry is seeking a Diocesan Director of Education (DDE) to lead and sustain Christian education across 76 Church of England schools. As Director and CEO of the Diocesan Board of Education, you will provide strategic leadership, working with the Bishop, parishes, schools, MATs, local authorities, and national partners. This influential role requires theological depth, educational credibility, and strong system leadership.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has significant leadership experience in the state school sector
  • Is a practising Christian rooted in prayer and mission
  • Leads with pastoral wisdom and builds strong partnerships
  • Communicates the Gospel clearly and convincingly

This role has an Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a practising Christian (Equality Act 2010). Finance Administrator

This is a highly varied administrative role, processing invoices, reconciling data and maintaining financial information across the breadth of CPAS’ work. Led by the recently appointed Head of Finance, the Finance Administrator will focus on providing administrative support to the Finance Team.  During the summer they will work closely with our Ventures and Falcons team processing invoices and volunteer expense claims for the 60+ children’s and young people’s holidays that we run during the school holidays. 

This is an exciting time to join the CPAS team as the charity is at the start of a digital transformation project to find and implement efficiencies to benefit the entire organisation. 

You’ll thrive in this role if you are detail oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills and comfortable with repetitive tasks. If you are also calm, approachable and resilient under pressure, and enjoy proactively improving systems and processes, we would love to hear from you!

Hours: This a part-time role of 15 hours per week

Salary range: £10,171—£10,942 per annum, dependent on experience (pro rata of a full-time salary of £25,089—£27,019).

Location: Office-based in Coventry

Trust Fundraising Officer

We are seeking a positive, team-focused, relational and customer-orientated Trust Fundraising Officer to join our creative and busy Fundraising and Communications Team.

You will be responsible for liaising with grant givers, and writing and submitting high quality, compelling funding applications to trusts and foundations. The ideal candidate will enjoy cultivating positive relationships with funders, liaising with our outward focused ministry teams to build excellent submissions and will thrive in a high-pressure environment. With your excellent time management and organisational skills, you will take ownership of a portfolio of small-medium grant-makers, contributing towards a shared annual income target.

Hours: This a part-time role of 3 days per week (0.6 FTE)

Salary range: £17,023 per annum (pro rata of a full-time salary of £28,372)

Location: Office-based in Coventry

Growing Faith Link Worker – St James Church, Bulkington

Contract: This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years, with the possibility to extend.

Hours: 24 hours per week (including attendance at Sunday morning service, weekly daytime and evening activities, team meetings and training as required)

Employer: The Parochial Parish Council of St James Church Bulkington

Salary and Pension: We can offer a yearly salary of £16,848 based on a 24 Hour week (subject to experience) plus pension contribution.
