On the 4th November 2024 it was announced by Downing Street that the new Bishop of Coventry will be the Right Reverend Sophie Jelley, after her nomination was approved by the King.

The Right Reverend John Stroyan retired as the Bishop of Warwick on 7th August 2023. The position of Bishop of Warwick is now in vacancy.
