HEART OF ENGLAND PARISHES

 

We are a mission-focused group of six churches in villages centred on the large and growing village of Bidford On Avon, Warwickshire. We are committed to growing in God and to reaching out into our communities, seeing our four church schools as a prime opportunity. We also have a strong sense of a call to youth ministry.

 

 


Ideally you will: have a pioneering spirit have managerial skills so that you can delegate be comfortable with different styles of worship have a Biblical basis to your faith be a conductor, rather than a soloist be called to cutting-edge mission and ministry in a changing church.

HOUSE FOR DUTY ASSOCIATE MINISTER

 

In the Parish of St. Mary, Cubbington (near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire)

 

A House for Duty Associate Minister is sought to work alongside the half-time Priest-in-Charge, Revd Rosemary Pantling, and growing Ministry Team. Sunday Worship plus two days per week, including occasional offices. The post holder will have experience of church leadership and growth, preferably within a village context, and be able to contribute positively to a leadership team. Accommodation is in Cubbington Vicarage, a delightful 4 bedroom house.

PART-TIME CHAPLAIN

 

The Diocese of Coventry and G4S Care & Justice Prisons
are seeking to appoint a part-time Church of England Priest at HM Prison, Rye Hill (Nr, Rugby)

HMP Rye Hill is a modern Category ‘B’ Training Prison with a population of 600 adult male prisoners. The Church of England Chaplain would be part of a multi-faith ecumenical Chaplaincy Team ministering to prisoners and staff.

PRIEST-IN-CHARGE

 

In the Parishes of Kineton, Combroke with Compton Verney, Shotteswell, Warmington, Ratley and Radway

 
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a priest to work collaboratively in a team of both clergy and laity enabling the churches to grow spiritually, and to engage with their local communities particularly with young adults and children.
 
They will be expected to provide leadership, teaching and spiritual nurture for these rural parishes set in S.E. Warwickshire.
