Sunday Services


  • Sunday Morning is on BBC1 at 10.30 am and is available on iPlayer at 11.10 am. New series. The Rev Kate Bottley shares her favourite tales of faith, hope and spirituality when ordinary people do extraordinary things. 
  • Songs of Praise is on BBC1 at 1.15 pm and is available on iPlayer at 1.55 pm. Katherine Jenkins talks to The Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, about the role of Christianity after lockdown, and comedian Frank Skinner reflects on his relationship with God.


  • BBC Radio 2 is broadcasting Good Morning Sunday at 6.30 am. Stories about the different and surprising ways in which people pray and an exploration of how everyone can find moments of calm and connection.
  • BBC Radio 4 is broadcasting Sunday Worship at 8.10 am. Exploring the rich story of the Road to Emmaus with the Rev Philip Blackledge and Claire Nicholson of Holy Trinity Scottish Episcopal Church, Melrose. Reading: Luke 24: 13-35.
  • BBC Radio 3 is broadcasting Evensong at 3.00 pm from Worcester cathedral.   
  • Radio Plus is broadcasting David Stone's faith show from 7 am to 11 am - at 10.00 am.  You can listen at 101.5FM or on the Radio Plus website. David will also be leading an on-air worship service between 10 and 11 am.

Streamed Services   

The following list is a small sample of the wide range of streaming services:

  • Coventry Cathedral will be live-streaming a service for all ages at 9.15 am, a Eucharist at 10.30 am and Evening Prayer at 4.00 pm on their Facebook page.                       

      Those without access to the internet can listen to a recording of the Eucharist by dialling 02476 939700

  • St Paul's Church, Leamington Spa will be live-streaming a half-hour service for children (aged 3-8) at 10.00 am on their children's Youtube Channel  and Morning Worship service at 10.30 am on their Youtube Channel and Facebook Page (informal, relaxed service)
  • St Mark's Church, Coventry will be streaming a 'kids and family' service at 9.30 am and their regular morning service at 10.30 am both on their Facebook page and Youtube Channel (informal, relaxed service)

This week's featured service

  • St James Church, Styvechale will be streaming Morning Worship at 10.00 am on their webpage (Suburban, relaxed informal)

Many churches, both large and small, are finding new ways of connecting with their local communities through the streaming of church services from home.
