PLOUGH SATURDAY AT COVENTRY CATHEDRAL

An opportunity to take part in a celebration of the farming year at Coventry Cathedral. A service of prayer, dedication and blessing for all those involved in agriculture and for those who live in rural communities. The Bishop of Warwick will be preaching. We hope there will be a tractor and plough in the Cathedral together with displays about the work of Farm Crisis Network. RADIO PLUS FIRST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Radio Plus invite you to their first birthday Celebration on December 20th, where everyone will be given one minute on-air to say what they're most proud of during 2011 and what they're most looking forward to in 2012. Minced pies and a glass of mulled wine/soft drink will be served on arrival at 7.30 pm, with all interviews concluded by 8.30 pm.
The studio location address is The Bridge, 2nd Floor, Broadgate House, Broadgate, Coventry, CV1 1NG and car parking will be available in Barracks Street Car Park behind Broadgate House for £1 on the evening of Tuesday 20th December.

"AWARENESS IN BEREAVEMENT CARE" COURSE

This 60-hour, interactive, nationally approved course, is being run by the Coventry & Warwickshire branch of Cruse Bereavement Care. The course is for all new volunteers wanting to work with Cruse clients, and would be valuable for any individual, counsellor, or therapist who wants to understand more about bereavement issues. A REMINDER - THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY BOYS CHOIR

The Warwickshire County Boys Choir are giving a special Christmas concert at St. Nicolas Parish Church in Nuneaton on Thursday December 22nd at 7-30 p.m. Formed only in 2008 they are already a renowned and award-winning choir, appearing this year in the final of BBC T.V.'s "Choir of the Year". Led by the former Director of Warwickshire County Music Service, Garry Jones, they are a group of 40-60 eight to thirteen year old boys from over 40 different schools. Together they make glorious music, and this concert should be one of the highlights of North Warwickshire's musical year.
