GREEN AS A LEAF - RENEWING A THEOLOGY OF CREATION 16-19 SEPT 2010

‘Green as a Leaf’ is an event designed to challenge us on living in an environmentally way. The increasing gravity of environmental issues has brought urgency to our thinking but our primary aim is to focus on a response to climate change that is proactive rather than reactive. We want to explore some of the deeper human and moral issues that lie behind ecological concerns. The programme is a mixture of lectures, seminars, workshops and worship. For more information and to obtain a copy of the booking form click here

 CHRISTIAN AID HARVEST MATERIALS

Christian Aid’s focus project for Harvest 2010 is RAADA in Afghanistan, the poorest country in the world outside of Africa. We work with remote agricultural communities in the western area of the country to bring sustainable development. This has included providing people with animals and teaching them how to care properly for them. Christian Aid has produced lots of great resources for use in Harvest services or other events. Among the resources are; sermon notes, all age activities, prayers, a short film, and a parish magazine article, click here to download your copy.
