When I was at school I sometimes 'cheated' by copying the answers from the back of the text books (I know... a bad thing to do) the teachers response was they wanted to see how I worked out the answers. I honestly believe its the same with young people - its so easy for us to pretend life is brilliant and that Jesus is the only answer any of us will ever need. Whilst this may be true I honestly believe that we all need to 'show working' sharing our bad moments with young people as well as the good. We must demonstrate faith that stands up to life's big tests.
The following may be of some interest...

Easter outreach in Coventry City Centre
Please see the attached leaflet about this year's Christ in the Precinct and ways to get involved. The focus of this activity is firmly on creating opportunities to have some good conversations with people about Christianity through service evangelism, rather than preaching 'at' people. Should be great fun. We need people to get involved with shoe cleaning, face painting we need Easter eggs to give out and people to give them! www.coventrydiocese.org/upload/file/CIP 08.pdf

Based in East Midlands
Scripture Union is a national mission-movement whose aims are to make God’s good news known to children, young people and families, and to encourage people of all ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer. It pursues these aims through a variety of specialist ministries and this job, like all others within Scripture Union, is required for that purpose. In all its work, Scripture Union aims to be Bible-based, prayerful, Christ-centred, Spirit-inspired and dependent on God. They are looking for someone to join their East Midland team who will continue the development of Scripture Union’s schools ministry through:
· Supporting Christian pupils and staff
· Recruiting, encouraging and training volunteers to use Scripture Union’s exciting programmes
· Helping churches to build closer links with schools
Networking with others involved in children’s, youth and schools ministries.
