Worship 4 Mission 

The first of our Diocesan Priorities is To Worship God and for all of us, Clergy and Church Wardens this lies at the heart of our privilege and responsibility within the life of the church. As a part of its offering to the diocese Worship 4 Mission have created a Worship Audit Tool, Shaping God’s Church for Worship.

This looks at the underlying values that permeate our worship, its planning and execution and. It does not judge parishes as successful or failing, as other audit tools do, but rather helps PCC’s to identify strength and weaknesses, and thereby to identify areas that need attention It has been used in several parishes around the diocese and has been found very useful.

If your parish would like to invite a member of the Worship 4 Mission team to work with you on an audit, please contact Ruth Wagstaffe at the Diocesan Office. But there’s nothing to stop you from doing it alone!
